Samad’s is an Indian restaurant and is ideally located seconds from the oxford railway station with nearby public car parks.
It has a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. You are always greeted pleasantly and waiters are always at hand to assist you.
The restaurant is mostly used by local residents and businesses in the area. It has been an Indian restaurant from 1987 then known as “Polash” tandoori. Samad took over in 1997.
The food is of the highest standards with top quality Indian ingredients and fresh daily produce. Yogurt and Poneer are home-made daily.
Seating
The capacity is 40. The restaurant takes group bookings.
Food & Drink
The menu is derived from northern Indian style cooking. Samad’s offers a wide selection of vegetarian delights (vegans are welcome). Also dishes are prepared freshly on order so if a customer wants something added or excluded from a dish of their choice, this can be done with out any fuss.
The wine list consists of a selection of popular wines from around the world. Other drinks served include home-made “lassi” this is a yogurt drink.
