We created Dinning Dating because we thought, and bear with us, that there was a gap in the market. I can almost see your confusion as a thousand speed dating events flash through your memory, however Dinning Dating is different and let me tell you why. |
First up, this isn’t just about meeting someone for romantic moon lit walks. We think that it is difficult to meet new people maybe you’ve just moved here, maybe you are bored of your old friends (trust me this does happen), maybe you just want a night out doing something different from the same old bar, with the same old drinks and the same old people. The point is Dinner Dating is for anyone who wants an evening out – and you are not ushered around a room for 15 minutes, talking to 40 people in the time and then asked to make a decision about who you’d like to date. No, this is all about relaxation…
We take 20 girlies, and 20 guys, and over the course of a delicious 4 course meal and some champagne, we give you the chance to actually talk to those around you, converse, eat, drink, relax and be merry. At the end of the meal, you can hand us your cards on which you can write own anyone you have met that really tickles your fancy (bonus!), anyone who you’d rather poke yourself in the eye than see this person again (sorry…). This way, we’ll arrange for email address swapping (or not) and everyone has yummy good and drinks, and gets to chill out with new people. And I get to have lots of fun meeting you all, and Martin gets to have lots of fun cooking for you… he he he. We even send you away with a goody bag at the end of the evening because we’ve had so much fun, we can’t stop giving things away!
Starters Deep fried brie, with raspberry and cranberry coulis Goats cheese crouton, marinated in piri-piri Caesar salad, topped with grilled chicken Salmon fishcakes, Thai sweet chilli sauce
Mains Seared salmon, served with a roasted vegetable salad cooked in Thai curry juices. Slow baked lamb marinated in yoghurt, served with couscous, and a salsa and mint yoghurt. Roasted Dolmas, red pepper and artichokes served with a warm salad of Tuscan beans. Wild bear sausages and creamy horseradish mash served with an apple and brandy gravy.
Digestive Lemon sorbet, with parsley and gin. Bloody Mary granta
Dessert Home made lemmon cheesecake with a ginger nut biscuit base Banana crème brulee, rich creamy custard, topped with caramel Chocolate fudge brownie, rich, moist & gooey
